Integrated Basic Education & Skills Training
(I-BEST)

What is I-BEST?

The I-BEST program pairs adult basic education or English as a Second Language (ESL) with workforce training to earn a college level certificate or a 2 year degree.  It provides students with the opportunity to learn both basic skills (reading, writing, & math) and workplace skills at the same time.

I-BEST students have two instructors in each class:  one professional-technical and one English language or basic skills instructor.  Our students receive additional support for each professional technical course.

I-BEST students prepare for immediate employment in a technical or professional field.
