Counseling Approaches

I use multiple techniques and strategies including a Humanistic or Rogerian approach in most counseling sessions. Depending on the situation I will also make use Rational Emotive, Reality and Brief Therapy models.  In addition to social/emotional issues, I work with students on career matters, anxiety/stress management, and relational conflicts. My aim is to work towards a building a trusting relationship, while emphasizing that students take full responsibility for their actions.
