Counseling Approaches

I counsel with an emphasis on prevention and realty testing. I work with individuals to promote self discovery for optimum mental health. I help individuals dealing with addictions and substance abuse; family conflicts, parenting issues, marital stressors; suicide ideation; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues affecting their academic performance. My aim is to work towards a building a trusting relationship, while emphasizing that students take full responsibility for their own actions.
