• Phi Theta Kappa Induction Ceremony*NEW!*
Olympic College’s Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Beta Gamma Eta, will hold its Induction Ceremony this May 18th, from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in the BSC Commons. All current PTK students, inductees and their families and friends, and faculty and administration are welcome to attend the ceremony. Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.

• Silverdale Beach Clean-Up
For those who like pristine beaches, here is a volunteer opportunity for you: April 29th is the Silverdale Beach Clean-Up! With Japanese tsunami debris just now reaching our shores, this clean-up takes on added urgency. Come help us this month from 1 – 3pm.
The area we will be in is Old Mill Park, 2901 Bucklin Hill Road, Silverdale (opposite Staples) Old Mill Park is located on Bucklin Hill Road between Silverdale Way and Tracyton Boulevard.
Come help us clean the beach and join us for food and drink afterwards!
• New Member Orientation Meeting
Learn more about member benefits and Phi Theta Kappa programs and activities by attending a New Member Orientation Meeting (Dates to be announced). All students interested in Phi Theta Kappa membership are welcome. Come to a session that is convenient to you and get your questions about membership answered. Also check out the links under Prospective Members to learn more about the membership process at EMCC and see Frequently Asked Questions.
Look for membership invitations in your mail, they should arrive any day now! Don't miss your invitation if you are eligible to join.

• PTK General Meeting
For current Phi Theta Kappa members who want to hang out, have a good time or just get to know the other members and/or officers in Olympic College’s Beta Gamma Eta Chapter, we'll be hosting a PTK General Meeting this Quarter. As of now the date and time is undecided, but they will be up soon!
There will be food and drink and we would love it if you came and joined us!
Annual Events:
• Project Thanksgiving (Fall)
Thanksgiving is a time for family gatherings and holiday meals - for sharing and spreading happiness. A time to be thankful for the people, experiences, and gifts we receive in our lives. Unfortunately, there are some people who have a tougher situation than we do. In hopes of helping these families this Holiday Season, Phi Theta Kappa is once again gathering donations for "PROJECT THANKSGIVING". Last year we were able to provide a full Thanksgiving Feast to 50 families! And we hope to expand that further this year and try to give a full Thanksgiving dinner to more families during these difficult times. No matter how large or how small, all donations help, and you contributions will provide a Thanksgiving Feast for a family in need.
Donations include all canned foods; we also accept donations of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Help a family in need this Holiday Season, please donate at any of our Donation Boxes around the Olympic College Campus or stop by our Office in the BSC, Room 115.
