2011 Season

All-League Honors For V-Ballers
NWAACC North Division honors were announced on Monday. Olympic College placed four players on all-league teams. Crystal Colo was named to the 1st-team; Michelle Cook and Kim Sustare were selected to the 2nd-team; Chelsea Brustad was an honorable mention pick. Coach Beth Donnelly was also named the coach of the year.

Make It Five; NWAACC's Next
Olympic College knocked off Bellevue for their fifth straight win Friday night to end the regular season. OC finished 6-1 in the cozy confines of the Bremer Student Center, and have gained momentum heading into the NWAACC tournament. (more>>

Fourth Straight Win, Playoff Bound
The Rangers continued their hot streak by taking out Whatcom 25-12, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22 at home. With the win OC has secured the three-seed out of the North Division into the NWAACC playoffs that start on November 17. Maggie Hanser had a big game with 15 kills. (more>>

OC Upsets Shoreline at Home
The Olympic College volleyball team pulled off an upset Friday night at home, taking three of four games from the Shoreline Dolphins. Shoreline came into the contest unbeaten in league play; they are the defending North Division champions. (BOX SCORE>>

Volleyball Takes Care of Tritons
The Rangers volleyball team took care of business at the Bremer Student Center Wednesday night against Edmonds. OC swept the Tritons in three straight sets on breast cancer awareness night. OC hosts Shoreline Friday. (BOX SCORE>>

Cook Named to All-Tourney Team
Sophomore Michelle Cook was named to the Spokane Crossover all-tournament team. OC went 1-3 at the tournament over the weekend. The second half of league play starts tomorrow night versus Edmonds.

BC Bulldogs Bite Rangers
Olympic lost at Bellevue on Friday night in three straight games: 25-13, 25-10, 25-15. The Bulldogs remained atop the North Division with the win.

Rangers Storm Back To Beat TCC
After losing the first two games, OC came back to win three straight games and earn the victory against Tacoma. Scores were: 22-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-8. Tacoma is the 1st place team from the NWAACC West Division. (more>>

Whatcom Sweeps OC Volleyball
Whatcom (2-1, 9-9) took care of the Rangers volleyball team in three straight games Friday in Bellingham. OC lost 25-22, 25-22, and 25-21; the Rangers play Tacoma this Wednesday at home in a non-league matchup.

Rangers Take Care of Everett
The Rangers won 25-20, 25-12, and 25-19 Wednesday night in the BSC. Chelsea Brustad (Olympic HS) had 17 assists and nine digs. Bailey Anderson had a .476 kills percentage and 11 kills.

Rangers Lose in 5 to Pierce
The Rangers struggled in a five-game loss to Pierce at the Bremer Student Center. Scores: (18-25, 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 15-13). "I'll be honest, it was a pretty ugly match," said OC coach Beth Donnelly. "We couldn't get things going."

Volleyball Shows Well in Longview
After an 0-6 start the OC volleyball team went 3-1 in a one-day tournament at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wash. Crystal Colo had a big tournament with over 40 kills. (more>>
