Brocklesby Wins Decathlon
Olympic College took two athletes to Western Washington for the multi-event meet on Thursday in hopes to qualify for the NWAACCs later this month.  Hunter Keffer from Central Kitsap and Jayson Brocklesby from Sequim competed against WWU, CWU, and Univ. of British Columbia over the span of two days.  Most of the events they competed in they hadn't even attempted in high school.  But that, nor the gusts of 30 mph winds were not going to keep them from doing their best.
Keffer finished fifth over all with a score of 4,471 points winning the shot put with a throw of 36' 8.25".
Brocklesby walked away with the first place title scoring 5,801 points and winning the 100m, 400m and 1500m respectively.
