OC Women Upend Edmonds
Brittnay Gates and Kayleigh Carlson each scored two goals as Olympic College's women's soccer team defeated Edmonds on the road Saturday, 4-0. Gates scored in the 20th and 36th minutes in the first half, while Carlson scored in the 50th and 73rd minutes in the second half. Pepper Fanua posted her second shutout in goal for the Rangers (2-2). (more>>)

Gates' Hat Trick Leads OC to First Win
Brittnay Gates scored a hat trick as the Olympic College women's soccer team beat Green River, 3-0, Thursday for their first win. Gates opened the scoring in the 16th minute off an assist from Alegra Waldon. Five minutes later, Gates struck again by converting a pass from Cassie Brown. Brown then scored off an assist Aisha Shurick to give OC a 3-0 lead at halftime. (more>>)

A Season Full of Hope
The Olympic College men's and women's soccer teams are more than happy to write off last season's debacle. Both teams finished last in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges West Division with a combined 2-31-1 record. But a new season brings with it a new hope for first-year women's coach Richard Lowry as well as second-year men's coach Kris Lowry, whose teams begin play Friday against Bellevue. (more>>)

OC Soccer Signs Five
Olympic College women's soccer coach Richard Lowry announced that he has signed five players from the Olympic Peninsula. Jadie (Pepper) Fanua, goalkeeper from Olympic; Samantha Gallegos, midfielder from South Kitsap; Maria Jose, defender form South Kitsap; Brittany Gates, forward from Sequim, and Brittany Nelson, midfielder from Central Kitsap. Lowry said others have also announced, but he hasn't received their letters of intent.
