(Wednesday - Sept. 30, 2009 - Kitsap Sun Sports) Ranger Men Lose Heartbreaker The OC men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker to Peninsula CC 2-1 on Wednesday. Ranger goalie Alex Garza, freshman from South Kitsap, played phenomenal in net, said Coach Kris Lowry. "Alex Garza I can't praise enough," he said. OC is back in action on Saturday when they host Spokane at Bremerton Memorial Stadium. Game time is 2:00 p.m. (more>>)
(Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 - Kitsap Sun Sports) Rangers lose to Treasure Valley OC lost 5-0 as Alan Bosio scored twice and assisted on another goal. The Rangers (0-4) next game is versus Peninsula College at home on Wednesday, Sept. 30th. (more>>)

OC coach Kris Lowry said mental lapses hurt the Rangers more than anything Wenatchee did. "We were controlling a lot of the game," he said. "The last 10 minutes we were pressing. They got odd-man break and our midfielders decided not to run with (their) guys. We also missed a breakaway. We had quite a few chances." (more>>)

(Tuesday, Sep. 1, 2009 - Kitsap Sun Sports) Rangers Looking for Some Success on Soccer Pitch It's been two tough years for Kris Lowry, the head coach of the Olympic College men's soccer team. Injuries, ineligible players and personal issues led to the third-year coach having to fill spots with anyone he could. It showed in the team's 2-30-2 record over that time frame. (Tuesday, June 2, 2009 - Kitsap Sun Sports) Rangers Sign SK Soccer Champs Olympic College men's soccer coach Kris Lowry signed several players for next season, including three new state champions. South Kitsap's Devin Walls-Wolf, a midfielder, goalkeeper Alex Garza and defender Tommy Meyers - who helped the Wolves to a Class 4A state championship last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Pasco - will play for the Rangers this fall.
