2013-2014 Season

OC Men's Golf Finish Second at NWAACCs
The OC Golf Team was in Richland, WA for the NWAACC Championships. The men came from behind on day 2 to finish with a score of 599 and enough for a second place finish.  Keynan Fanslow lead the Rangers finishing in a 3-way tie for 2nd place with a score of 144.

Skagit Valley Invite at Avalon
The OC Golf Team traveled to Burlington for the Cardinal Classic this weekend.  Three Rangers (Fanslow, Barnes, and Lund) finished in the top 10 on the weekend. (RESULTS)

OC Golf Plays Host at McCormick Woods
The OC Golf Team hosted the NWAACC League Match on Sunday and Monday in Bremerton's own McCormick Woods Golf Course.  Keynan Fanslow was the top finisher for OC taking 2nd. (more>>)

Fanslow Leads Rangers in Spokane
The OC Golf Team traveled to Spokane for the Bigfoot Invitational this weekend.  Keynan Fanslow took 4th and lead the Rangers for the two day event. (RESULTS)

Men Take Third in Richland
The Men's Golf team opened up their spring season this past weekend at Horn Rapids Golf Club hosted by Columbia Basin. Keynan Fanslow lead the Rangers shooting 80 and 69 for a total of 149 on the tournament. (more>>)

Golf Competes in Swanson Cup
The golf team was at beautiful Chamber's Bay this weekend for a great 2 days of play. Results can be found on the NWAACC site.

Third Place Team Finish
The Men's Golf team traveled to Wenatchee, Wash. for their first NWAACC league match this past weekend.  The Rangers placed 3rd overall with a score of 574. Fanslow placed 5th to lead the team  with 140 for the two days. (

Men's Golf Finishes 5th in Skagit
Keynan Fanslow lead the team again in Mt. Vernon, WA this weekend at Avalon Golf Course. (RESULTS)

Fanslow Leads Team in Spokane
Keynan Fanslow had the better swing in Spokane this weekend to lead the Ranger men's team. He tied for 10th place and shot a 74 and a 77 for a total of 151 for the tournament. The team shot 611 respectively.

Luvaas Leads Team in Auburn
Branning Luvaas was consistent both days of play in the season opener for the Rangers. He tied for 8th place and shot a 74 both rounds for a total of 148 for the tournament. The team shot 611 respectively.

Golf Opens Season on Sunday
The Men's and Women's Golf team will be traveling to Auburn on Saturday for a two day match at the Washington National Golf Club.

Nelson Doing Work in the Classroom
Sophomore Eric Nelson received an NWAACC All-Academic award for his performance in the classroom. He maintained a 3.5 GPA.

Olympic College will host the NWAACC Golf Championships this Sunday and Monday here in Kitsap County. Saturday will be at McCormick Woods; Sunday at Gold Mountain.

Nelson Ties For Third

Luvaas Cools After Hot Start

Spring Side of Golf Schedule Starts
Eric Nelson tied for eighth in Walla Walla as the Rangers opened the spring side of their schedule. Nelson shot a 74 both days. (FULL RESULTS

Nelson Top Finisher in Centralia
Eric Nelson was the top finisher for the Rangers at the Centralia Invitational. He was seventh overall, shooting +4 at the 6,200 yard Riverside Golf Course. The men finished fourth overall.

Golf Team Starts Season
Men's golf kicked off their 2011-12 season in Aberdeen at the Grays Harbor League Match. The second round of the match was canceled due to rain. OC results: Nelson (81), Luvaas (85), Wood (95), Braunstein (91), Pickering (88).

Nelson Leads Men in First Action
The men's golf team had their first tournament of the year in Aberdeen, Wash. on Sept. 25th. Monday's round was canceled because of the weather. Eric Nelson was OC's top finisher - he shot a 81 on Sunday. (

OC Golf Fourth at Wine Valley
The men's golf team finished fourth at the 2010 Wine Valley Golf Tournament in Walla Walla, Wash. with a total team score of 641. OC's top finisher was Joey McNelis who shot rounds of 81 and 76 for a total score of 157 - good enough for 9th place overall. Other top finishers for the Rangers were Neil Bitow (159 overall) and Dylan Kinney (162).

Bjorke 2nd at Champions Event
Bjorn Bjorke of Port Orchard nearly made it back-to-back championships at the second WSGA Champion of Champions tournament held at The Home Course. Bjorke, the 2009 winner, lost to Mick Haack of Bellevue in a two-hole playoff on Wednesday (

Bjorke Primed for U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship
Bjorn Bjorke's one of those golfers who believes you drive for show, and putt for dough. And all of that work on the putting green has paid off for the 30-year-old who is a golf shop assistant at McCormick Woods Golf Course. Bjorke will be among those teeing off Saturday in the first round of the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship on Long Island. (more>>).
