Barry Janusch will be taking over the Men's Golf program beginning in the Spring of 2010. Janusch replaces Daryl Matheny, who started both the OC Men's and Women's golf programs in 2004. Janusch is Olympic College's current Director of Athletics and the Bremer Student Center. He has served in that role since 1998.  From 1992 - 2001 he was the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Olympic. He also serves as the Chairman of the NWAACC Golf Sports Committee.

Janusch will be working closely with the staff of teaching pros at Gold Mounatin Golf Course, Olympic College's home course. Gold Mountain has two beautiful championship courses and has earned impressive awards as one of America's finest municipally owned golf courses. The Cascade Course opened in 1971 and is a 7,104-yard course. The Olympic Course opened in 1996 and is a 7,152-yard course.

Some of the impressive tournaments Gold Mountain has hosted in the past few years includes:
- 81st U.S. Amateur Public Links Championships (2006)
- NCAA Men's West Regional Golf Championship (2008, 2010)
- Ping / Golf Week Invitational (2009)

In 2011, they will host the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.

Barry lives in Silverdale, Wash. with his wife Arlene and two sons Max and Eli. His daughter Lani is attending the University of Washington.
