Duckworth Top Women's Finisher
The OC women were led by freshman Jessica Duckworth, who finished 35th win a personal best 27:33 over the 6-kilometer course. The women finished sixth out of the six-team field.

OC Runners Debut in Apple Orchard
It only makes sense that the Olympic College cross country program finally comes to fruition on a day when its athletes will be running in an apple orchard. The revival of the sport cut over 30 years ago becomes reality today when the Rangers compete in Central Washington's Apple Ridge Run. (more>>)

Olympic College Fills Cross Country Post
Daryl Schruhl was the driving force behind bringing cross country back to Olympic College. Now he'll make sure the Rangers are ready to run when the sport returns to the two-year school this fall. OC athletic director Barry Janusch announced Thursday that Schruhl has been hired to coach men's and women's cross country. (more>>)

OC Takes a Run at Cross Country
The Associated Students of Olympic College and college president David Mitchell have given their stamp of approval to start men's and women's cross country programs at the two-year school. They will begin competing with other NWAACC schools in the fall of 2010. Olympic College Athletic Director Barry Janusch announced this week that the school is advertising for a coach. (more>>)

Schruhl the Right Guy to Re-Ignite OC Running Programs
Daryl Schruhl doesn't remember when it first happened, but he thinks he was at a track and field meet at South Kitsap when an older guy walked past him and said, "You need to start something at Olympic College". Schruhl looked around, and slowly realized that Bob Summers was addressing him. (more>>)
