Ceremony

A formal commencement (graduation) ceremony is held each year in June for all students who graduate throughout the academic year. Information will be mailed to potential graduates. Graduates, members of the College and local community and guests are invited to attend. See more attendance information.

Information and RSVP cards will be mailed to students who confirm commencement attendance.

Students must purchase a cap and gown to participate in the ceremony. Announcements are also available for purchase. See the Regalia (cap and gown) and Attendance links at left for cost information.

Graduates may invite as many guests as they wish and tickets are not required.

Free parking is available in parking lots adjacent to the Pavilion.

Guests are urged to arrive no later than 1:45 pm. Guests will not be seated during the processional or presentation of colors beginning at 2:00 pm.

The ceremony lasts one and one-half hours and a reception will be held immediately following the ceremony for graduates, guests and members of the College and local community.

The ceremony is videotaped by the staff of the OC Media Center and replayed on both local access television stations in the Kitsap area. Also, guests may tape directly from the replay for their own copies. The ceremony recording will air on Access Channel 12 and Charter Communications Channel 3.
