CLEP Acceptance Policy and Exam Scores

Notes and LImitations

CLEP EXAMS ARE CONSIDERED RESTRICTED ELECTIVES within the Associate in Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science-Transfer degree. A student may not have more than 15 credits of restricted electives within the 90 required for the degree.
For ATA degrees, CLEP classes awarded will be considered for completion requirements only upon recommendation of the program advisor.
Students who intend to transfer to a university should contact the admissions office of that university for information about transfer of CLEP courses.
