Do I need to be accepted as a student and take the placement test to take Continuing Education classes?
Our classes are open to the public and anyone may attend.

Do you have to be enrolled in credit classes to take Continuing Education classes?
You may take classes at any time and do not have to be a current Olympic College student.

Is the pre-requisite for Continuing Education computer classes required?
The pre-requisite ensures you have the previous experience or training before advanced classes are undertaken. If you have a question about your skill level, call 360-394-2702 and we will assist you with your class selection.

Can I get a receipt for my registration?
Proof of payment is available upon request. Please call 360-394-2702 to request documentation.

Do you accept a cash payment?
We are unable to accept cash payment at our Poulsbo Campus at this time. We accept check, credit card, or money order. If you wish to pay cash you may go to the Cashier's Office on the Bremerton Campus, College Service Center Building, first floor.

Is there a textbook required for the class?
Unless otherwise noted in the course description, all materials and textbooks for Continuing Education classes are provided.

How much credit does each class in Continuing Education receive?
Our classes do not carry credit. You may receive a certificate of attendance upon request.

If I have to withdraw from a class, when will I receive my refund?
Refunds take approximately two weeks. Please see our Withdrawal & Refund policy for specifics about withdrawing from a class.

Are children allowed to attend Continuing Education classes?
Children may attend classes by paying a registration fee and with the instructor's permission. We ask that parents ensure that the child is mature enough to follow the material without detracting from the experience for other participants. An accompanying parent with a paid registration is always recommended if the child is under 12 years old.

Can I bring my preschool child to class with me?
Only registered and paid persons, regardless of age, may attend classes.

Is there a discount for State employees?
We price our classes so they are affordable for all, so no discount is available. Full time Olympic College employees receive a small discount on most courses. Please call 360-394-2702 for more information.
