Requirements for Admission to College Level Classes

  • Students must have completed secondary school.
  • Official copy of test scores for one of the following:
    • TOEFL [Minimum 480 (paper), 157 (computer), 54-55 (IBT)]
    • Cambridge
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
    • STEP-Eikan
    • An equivalent examination
    • Note: Students will also be assessed at OC for English skills and placement levels.

 

All students will complete an English and math assessment to assess English and math abilities and determine appropriate course placement. An advisor will then help you choose appropriate classes based on the results of this assessment.
