General Information on Make-up Testing:
Make-up Testing Support is a service provided to assist faculty in administering PAPER-BASED exams to Olympic College students who have missed or will miss a testing session in class. Only Written Make-Up Testing is available. Computer workstations are NOT available for Make-Up Testing.
This Testing Service is available on a Walk-In basis Monday - Friday during the regular academic quarters; Make-Up Testing is also available during academic break periods on a more limited schedule.
All testing must be completed and students checked out of the testing center lobby before the posted closing time. Students will not be allowed to remain in the Testing Center after the posted closing time to complete a test.
Current photo identification is required for all testing.
See Notices for Students on the main Assessment &Testing Center page for information on Personal Items and other Requirements.
Notices for OC Instructors:
In order to maintain testing security, instructors are requested to deliver the test materials, any special answer sheets, and the fully completed Testing Support form for the current quarter directly to the Assessment & Testing Center. See link to forms on the left of this page. This can be done by email to TestingCenter@olympic.edu , by fax to (360) 475-7470, by interoffice mail to HSS222 , or in person to the Humanities & Student Services bldg., Room 222.
Please note and inform your students of the available hours for OC Make-Up Testing.
FORMS- all of the current quarter OC Testing information for Bremerton, Shelton and Poulsbo Testing Centers are available on the common drive at Shared Documents and Forms\Student Development\Testing Center or at the Bremerton Assessment & Testing Center. Please save for future use. A Testing Support form must accompany all test materials delivered to the Testing Centers and must be fully completed by the instructor (including Time Limit, Materials Allowed, Return Preference, Deadline, and any other Instructions). We will return the test packet and request that this form be completed if it is not sent with a test, or if the form does not include complete instructions. Avoid delays by having the fully completed form accompany all tests sent to us.
