Assessment & Placement
Olympic College offers the Accuplacer assessment to determine placement in English and math courses.
Take the Assessment
To take the placement test in math and/or English you will need all of the following:
- Your Student ID number
- Photo ID
- Pay the $15 fee in advance to the Cashier
- Need accommodations? Set them up in advance with Access Services

Are you exempt?
If you have previously taken the Accuplacer assessment,Compass or Asset test within the past two years, or if you have completed a college-level English or Math class at another college or university, you may be exempt from this requirement. Ask an advisor if this applies to you.
The assessment is given on a computer and the results are available immediately following.
