OLYMPIC COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID
Dollars for OC Students
INTRODUCTION
Below are a few useful links. The FAFSA4caster provided by Federal Student Aid and Financial aid calculator provided by FASTWEB are tools that will help you estimate your financial aid. Both tools attempt to give you an approximation of your financial aid based on the information you provide. Your school or college will determine the financial aid
you qualify for.
FAFSA4CASTER
The FAFSA4caster tool is provided by Federal Student Aid. It helps students and parents get an early estimate of their eligibility for financial aid. This tool will also reduce the time it will take for a student to complete the FAFSA since it is designed based on the FAFSA. Click on the link below for more information:

FINANCIAL AID CALCULATOR
The link below allows you to access a financial aid calculator provided by FastWeb. This is an external site. It is not owned or operated by Olympic College. The link is provided for prospective students to estimate the Cost of Attendance (COA) and Expected Family Contribution (EFC). You are not applying for financial aid by completing this process. To apply for financial aid all students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov

NET PRICE CALCULATOR
This calculator will give you an estimate of the type and amount of aid students in similar financial situations as you have received to attend Olympic College. This is an estimate only and NOT a promise of an award to you. The estimated award you will see below is based on the aid we awarded to students in the 2009-10 year. Many factors go in to deciding what award a student receives and these can change from year to year, such as the funding available from state, federal and institutional sources, the federal expected family contribution formulas, the relative amount of need of all the students at OC , and the cost to attend OC.
Net Price Calculator
Please note: to receive financial aid you must meet all eligibility criteria as defined by federal, state and institutional rules. In addition, to receive priority consideration of financial aid for 2011-12, you should complete the Free Application for Federal student Aid (FAFSA) and any submit any additional requested documents no later than March 1st, 2011 (we recommend you complete your FAFSA by February 15th). You must list Olympic College (federal code #003784) as one of the colleges to receive the results of your FAFSA.
The calculator does not include scholarship programs at Olympic. These programs consider a variety of factors including financial need. Any scholarship you are awarded from OC or other sources will be used to calculate your eligibility for aid and may result in a revision of your financial aid award. At OC, we use any scholarship(s) you receive and any other funding from other agencies (ie, L & I, DVR, etc.) to reduce the unmet need, then loan and other aid if necessary.
