Welding Technology—Aluminum WeldingCertificate of RecognitionThis program is designed for those interested in obtaining entry level skills in welding Carbon and stainless steels with an emphasis on welding Aluminum alloys utilizing the Gas Metal and Gas Tungsten Arc welding processes.
Program Outcomes Upon completion of this program, successful students will have demonstrated the following: - Entry level skills for welding carbon, stainless and aluminum alloys welded with the Gas Metal and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding processes.
- An understanding of the set-up, running and maintenance of GMAW and GTAW equipment and how to operate the equipment safely.
