Photo ManipulationCertificate of ProficiencyThis certificate is designed for students who will be called upon to employ Photoshop and other photo manipulation programs in the course of their careers. Typical industries in which photo manipulation has become a useful, or even an essential skill, include advertising, marketing, graphic design, publishing, and journalism. Students will develop intermediate-level skills in photography, photo manipulation, and photo restoration. The program will culminate in a portfolio that would assist students in job placement.
Program OutcomesUpon completion of the program, students will be able to: - Perform basic and intermediate photo editing techniques.
- Employ photographs effectively as elements in an overall design.
