Automotive Technology

All Automotive Technology courses are based on a list of professional tasks developed by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), a branch of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).


All courses are competency based which puts the learner in control, and keeps the focus of instruction on practical knowledge and real-world skills.


At the end of the program, successful students will be able to:

  • Inspect, maintain, repair and diagnose automotive systems and components according to industry standards.
  • Acquire, interpret and use technical information.
  • Demonstrate team-work, professional ethics, and personal accountability.
  • Effectively communicate with others.
  • Document repair procedures in a professional manner.
  • Pass industry-style certification exams.
