Student Orientation to Advising & Registration - (SOAR)
The SOAR sessions are an easy, convenient way for you to get all the information you need to start your education and begin preparing for your first quarter. After the session you will be directed to schedule an appointment with an advisor who can advise for your program or major.
Students New to College and New to OC
who are planning to earn a degree or certificate, SOAR is required before an advisor will meet with you. Sign up for a SOAR session by clicking on "Click to Schedule Online" or call your local campus.

Undecided? Make an appointment with a counselor if you are unsure about your career path. Those students who have identified a major or program will be assigned a faculty advisor.
