Advising Requirements
New Students
All new students and new transfer students can contact an Entry Advisor at the campus nearest to them.
Students New to college
Students with previous college credit
- Meet with an Entry Advisor in the Student Entry & Advising Center for a preliminary evaluation. Be sure to bring unofficial or official copies of your transcripts.
Continuing & Former Students
Meet with your Advisor or Faculty Advisor. See specific advising requirements below:
Fewer than 15 transcripted credits:
- Advising is required - Find your Faculty Advisor or see an Entry Advisor.
- Get advised & plan your class schedule.
- Get your new registration PIN or signature during your appointment.
15 or more transcripted credits:
- Advising is highly encouraged but not required.
- Use your global PIN to register.
- Former student? Contact registration to have a PIN assigned.
Note: Running Start & International Students must meet with their advisor every quarter.
