The Family Services program prepares students for work as practitioners in social, mental health and addiction service agencies. The program offers a three-tier certification process:
- 19 credit Case Aide Certificate
- 56 credit Certificate of Recognition
- 90 credit Associate in Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Family Services
We also offer two programs specifically for those wishing to enter addiction service agencies: a 61 credit Certificate of Specialization for individuals wanting to qualify as Chemical Dependency Professionals and an Associate in Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Family Services with an emphasis in Chemical Dependency.
All students must successfully complete internships (Field Experience) in community agencies of their choice in order to qualify for any of the certificates.
