Science Lending Library Application | Science Lending Library Flyer

The services of the Science Lending Library are available free of charge to Olympic College (OC) students requiring economic assistance in obtaining certain science textbooks. Due to a limited number of textbooks, priority is given to students who demonstrate the highest need for assistance and who plan on completing science related degrees, though all OC students enrolled in science courses are allowed to apply (proof of enrollment required upon approval).

Please note that applications are NOT processed on a first come/first served basis. Applications may be turned into the MESH Division Office in the Science & Technology, room 103. The APPLICATION DEADLINE is the FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY QUARTER by 3:00 p.m. Applicants are notified of approval status by email and telephone right away.
For more information, call the MESH Division office at 360.475.7700, or Karen Hanson at 360.475.6830. Textbooks are checked out the first week of the academic quarter and returned by the last day of the quarter. If the textbook is not returned, the student’s academic transcripts will be withheld and a registration block will be placed until the textbook or cost of the textbook is recovered.
