MESH NEWS

The 4th Annual Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Information Night was held in the Science and Technology Building Lobby and select classrooms on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. It included information on OC's quality transfer degree programs including the new four-year WSU Mechanical Engineering Program and the MESA program.

In response to diverse student needs, the Mathematics Department provides a broad curriculum, varied instructional approaches, and supportive resources to help students learn mathematics.

We foster success in learning and the value of achievement in mathematics, as well as the relevance, usefulness, appreciation and enjoyment of mathematics.

MATH NEWS

4/4/11 - Tenure status was granted to nine faculty members at the Olympic College Board of Trustees meeting Feb. 22.

A full-time faculty position was granted to Ron Raty, Peter Sanchez, Pamela Greig, Kevin Snell, Shawn Triplett, Amy Herman, Marie Weichman, Teresa C. Jones, and Gary McMannon.
