Physical Therapist Assistant Program
Olympic College has received full accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association
Information Sessions for interested applicants will be presented:

Applications for Fall 2008 cohort will be accepted until a full cohort of 24 students has been achieved
Prerequisites:
* All prerequisite courses must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for admission
Required Support Courses:
- Math 099 (or higher)
- English 101
- Psychology 101
*All required support courses must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for admission
* Preferential status is given to applicants who complete the required supporting courses prior to admission to the professional phase of the program.
The PTA program will require 40 total hours of volunteerism in two different physical therapy settings prior to application for admission to the program.
The PTA program curriculum is structured so that it may be completed in five consecutive quarters, once students have been accepted into the program.
Applications are available online or may be picked up in person at the PTA office located at 19351 8th Ave. NE, Suite 200, Poulsbo or the Health Occupations office, OCP 205.
