BIOL& 241 – Human A & P 1 (formerly Biology 250)

(Anatomy and Physiology)

CHEM& 121 – Intro to Chemistry (formerly Chemistry 121) & CHEM& 131 – Intro to Organic/Biochem (formerly Chemistry 122), or CHEM& 141 – General Chemistry I (formerly Chemistry 140), CHEM& 151 – General Chem Lab I (formally Chemistry 141L), CHEM& 142 – General Chemistry II (formerly Chemistry 150), CHEM& 152 – General Chem Lab II (formerly Chemistry 151L) or concurrent enrollment.

Students may fulfill the biochemistry prerequisite for Human A & P 1 by doing one of the following: Take CHEM& 131 OR take a placement test that will allow you to waive CHEM& 131. It is suggested that BIOL& 160 or BIOL 201 be taken as preparation for passing this placement test. The placement test must be passed in order to register for Human A & P 1. Program Start Date: Spring Quarter of each year, 4 quarters in length (Spring, Fall, Winter, Spring). (plus one 3 credit transitions course)
