CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is the science which studies matter, its properties and composition, and the laws that govern the formation of matter from the basic elements.  The breadth of the subject area is enormous and chemists can be found working on such diverse problems as the development of new plastics and fibers, drug preparation, pollution control, the isolation and identification of plant and insect hormones, medical research, nuclear chemistry, and the analysis of geological materials. Come take a class in our Science and Technology Building. For excellent science websites, see links on the right of this page.

CHEMISTRY PART-TIME FACULTY

In addition to the full-time faculty members listed above, many other qualified professors serve on a part-time basis.  Although the part-time faculty members serve as an integral aspect of our community, quarterly schedule changes preclude listing them individually.  For information on how to contact a part-time faculty member, please contact the MESH Division Office at 360.475.7700. The college directory web page is HERE.
