There are two options for preparation for this career at Olympic College The certificate Program is a 4 quarter, full-time program which begins every September and runs for a year. It requires a total of 61 credits. The program concludes with a supervised, unpaid externship in a medical office.
Prerequisites
To begin this program on a full time basis, students need:
- Accuplacer test scores for Math which place students in MATH 099 or higher. Alternatively, successful completion of MATH 094 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
- Accuplacer test scores for English which place students in ENGL 101. Alternatively, successful completion of ENGL 099 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
