CSDC Education Reimbursement

ELIGIBILITY

It is available to Classified Staff and Part-Time Hourly staff. You must be a current OC employee to receive reimbursement.

  • Full-time classified staff after 6 month probation period; $200.00
  • Part-time hourly staff after 6 month probation period; $100.00

AVAILABILITY

Reimbursement is subject to availability of funds. Reimbursement is based on a first come, first serve basis.

HOW TO REQUEST

Complete and submit the CSDC Reimbursement Request form with required documentation (see below under specific professional development type) prior to attending the class or training event. Staff members are limited to one request per quarter. Reimbursement will be made after the end of each quarter for all professional development types. For more information contact the CSDC.

REQUEST PROCEDURE AND DOCUMENTATION

Credit Classes

You must get a 2.0 grade or higher to receive reimbursement.
Before the first day of class submit a course description, your registration form and paid receipt.
After completion submit your grade report.

Workshop and Seminars

Before attending submit your registration receipt and a brochure or announcement.
After completion submit proof of completion.


Certification and Testing

Before the certification and/or testing date submit your payment receipt.
After completion submit a proof of successful completion.


Books, CD or Software

Submit original receipt.  Books, CDs, or software purchased for courses, training, conferences, or workshops qualify for reimbursement.  Books, etc purchased for personal use do not qualify, even if used at work.
