Re-Hosting Status

The Administrative Computing System re-hosting efforts are moving forward. In mid April, the first phase of the re-hosting pre-production system was implemented at the three pilot colleges (Olympic College, Clover Park Technical College, and Grays Harbor Community College). On April 28, fourteen Olympic College staff members completed training on one of the new reporting tools, the Report Wizard. This core group is tasked with testing both the application and converted reports before additional users are added to the system. The pilot college process is proving to be an asset to the project as all three colleges have been able to provide the CIS with valuable feedback for fine-tuning the Report Wizard. Although the first implementation of the pre-production system is limited to the reporting tools, additional modules including Financial Aid, Degree Audit, and application screens will in turn be added as we move closer to the conversion date.
