"The campus requested an official "online" campus calendar that incorporates critical and campus wide events. Responding to this need, Dr. Mitchell and Brian Dahl allocated resources and established goals for the calendar project. This calendar has been built on the college "Intranet or Portal" which is only visible to logged in "office" users on campus. The campus calendar has:

• A process for submitting events
• Event categorizations, such as registration events, that make it easy to categorize each event and then find categories (views) of events ( e.g. all registration dates or all sports events)
• Monthly, weekly, daily and other types of useful views of the calendar
• It should be possible to compare campus events with a user’s personal calendar to find event conflicts or add campus events to your personal calendar.
• A sub set of the campus events will be exported to our external college web site.
• Attachments for meeting agendas and other important event and meeting documents
• The ability to see a large number of events on a calendar or drill down into the details of an event
