- Adjunct Quarterly and Full Time
Supplemental/Overload working contract copies. Contracts are generated from the quarterly class schedule developed by the Instructional Divisions. After Division review and Dean signature, quarterly contracts are processed in the Instructional Support Services Office where working copies are filed alphabetically by Instructor name by quarter and retained for six years. For Vice President signed copies, contact Human Resources or Payroll. Changes to employee contracts are submitted by the Instructional Divisions. A spreadsheet is maintained in ISS for access by the Instructional Division Deans and Unit Administrators in which adjunct Percent (%)of FTE-F can be monitored.

- Special Assignments are generated using the Special Assignment Screen (see link at right) for assignments other than schedule item number instruction. Some Special Assignments would be: Advising, Honorarium, Guest Lecturer, Screening Committee, Meetings paid by time card, Coaching, Consultant, Course Development, Stipend for Retreat or Project.
- Exempt Employee Instructional Agreement Form (see link at right) is required for Exempt Employees who are teaching a class(es) and will receive salary compensation.
- Full Time Equivalent Faculty (FTEF) Percent assignment for each discipline base load for both full time and adjunct faculty. Adjunct FTEF assignment and transition factors (see link at right) based on Percent of Full Time Load. (Revised 8/19/03)
- Full Time Faculty Load Monitoring - Overload Calculations Full Time Faculty Loads are monitored throughout each quarter in conjunction with the Instructional Divisions. Loads are based upon the negotiated base load of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, Appendix B-3. Overloads can be paid quarterly per Vice President of Instruction and Division Dean approval provided an Instructor will not be under load at the end of the academic year. Final overloads are calculated and paid at the end of Spring Quarter on a separate overload check. Contact your Division office directly for specific load issues.
- Supplemental Salary Calculation (Telecourse, WAOL/Washington On-Line, CO-OP Work Experience, Private Music Instruction)Supplemental salaries are calculated utilizing the supplemental formulas listed in Appendix B-3 (Workload Standards) of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
