Q. Do we have Security 24 hours a day and on weekends?
A. Yes, and Security can be reached after normal business hours and on weekends by calling 475-7800 (answered 24 hours a day), or using one of the yellow emergency telephones (see Emergency Telephone Locations link at left).

Q. Where do we report an emergency, or what do I do if I am the victim of a crime?
A. If the situation requires immediate Police or Medical help dial 9-1-1 (on campus dial 9-9-1-1), then contact the Security Office by dialing 475-7800, pressing the "/Security" button on your phone, or accessing one of the yellow emergency telephones (see Emergency Telephone Locations link at left).

Q. Does Security provide escorts?
A. Yes, you can contact Security and arrange for an Officer to escort you to your class, or vehicle. These arrangements can be made in advance and scheduled throughout the quarter.

Q. If I am having a problem with someone in my class, or another student on campus, should I contact Security?
A. Safety & Security should be contacted immediately if you are having any difficulty with another student on campus. All students at Olympic College have the right to attend school without being harassed, intimidated or threatened. The Security Office works closely with the Dean of Student Services Office, and has a "zero tolerance" policy with regards to potentially violent/harmful situations.
