Distance Learning Services

Currently enrolled Olympic College students involved in distance learning are eligible for an array of services similar to those available on campus. Participants in both Telecourses and Washington Online's Internet-based courses qualify.

These services include:

• Access to several databases via the Web. Some databases require your student ID number and last name for access; others may be accessed without restrictions. Use the links on our Finding Books and Finding Articles pages. Enter your ID number and last name if prompted.
• Interlibrary Loan service to obtain materials like books, magazine & newspaper articles that are not available locally.
• Onsite borrowing at any of the OC libraries (search the Library Catalog).
• Research assistance via phone 360-475-7252 (Toll free 1-800-259-6718 ext. 7252), Web form, or e-mail (librarians@olympic.edu). We answer most queries within 24 hours.

Interlibrary loan, onsite borrowing, and research assistance are available during the College's Instructional Calendar. Consult the hours page for closures.
